FEATURES & TRAITS

Signature Spells - Bob can cast two chosen spells of his choice without expanded a spell slot, once per long rest. These spells are Tongues and Fireball.

Awakened Spellbook - His spellbook is sentient, and can be used as a magic focus. In addition, he can replace one damage type with another as long as it's of the same level. He can also quickly cast ritual spells.

Magical Scrivener - Bob can make quick spell scrolls, which are cast as if made one level higher. These spell scrolls are only legible to him.

One with the Word - His soul is so intwined with his spellbook that he can use it to help him recall knowledge, or prevent damage by sacrificing the spells found within.

HISTORY

A researcher through and through. Bob, formally known as Robert, was born in the Daylight Sanctum under a different name: Terranum. His family was a group of well renown wizards, each reaching for a place on the council of the Oculus. Bob, however, had different goals. While researching the Emperor occurance, he found an old, ancient magic used to alter dragons while they were still in the egg, and he set out on attempting to see if he could figure out how the magic would work. He took a trio of Imperial eggs from another family in the clan, and before he could cast the spell, he was exiled from the clan for the theft, and the eggs were recovered.

So instead he took to pillaging eggs from other clans, often barely escaping with his life. Some eggs he took from families by making them indebted to him- after all, his magic was quite strong. He could build a house in a day, if he so wished. Others he took from smaller clans while their guardians were sleeping. Others still he found while their families were waging battle on the beastclans. However, he couldn't get enough for the spell before they hatched. He turned his sights to a different target, instead choosing to target a rumor of a hatchling born with two heads. That's where he would meet the demon that would later become his beautiful, powerful wife.

Unknown (Sentient but Unmoving Statue)
""Unknown lives up to his name, a sort of odd unmoving statue that found its way into our home without us knowing. At first I wanted to destroy it, but every shatter on it just healed over with more moss. Stacks claims to see him move, sometimes, but outside of strange eldritch whispers I don't think he can even respond to stimuli. I wish to study him further.""
