Exalt Rescue
Altair is the clan's rehabilitation specialist and one of its core founders. She aids wounded and disabled dragons through physical therapy to hopefully help them regain mobility. Altair was discovered by a mysterious dragon, close to death. Born with an unknown disease that weakens the connective tissue in her body, Altair was considered weak and regarded as pretentious by her peers when she refused to participate in clan activities. Any amount of extensive exercise would cause her great pain and she would frequently visit healers to help with her dislocated joints. The mysterious dragon took her to a spring where he healed her.
 		When she came to, she was in a small den engulfed in reeds and the sound of trickling water. Through patience and perseverance, the mysterious dragon helped her strengthen the muscles in her body so she could move without causing pain. Eventually, she was able to sprint freely, though she never gained the ability to fly, running along the soaring winds gave her the freedom she always wanted. Over time the two became close friends and Altair started Verdant Haven as a safe space for dragons who couldn't find their place. Her friend insisted he stay hidden but would support her from out of sight.

Current Day
Altair spends her days helping dragons with mental and physical disabilities. She also teaches and partakes in acrobatics in her free time, pushing the limits of her body and performing beautiful dances. She occasionally visits her friend who, to this day, prefers to remain in the shadows and she is eternally grateful.
