Themis

Meet Themis, also known as THE ONLY DRAGON IN MY LAIR WITH LORE, help.

Themis, as the daughter of one of the clan's earliest members, always felt an especially connection to shadow. While the clan's leaders often chose to empathise and work together with members of the other Flights, Themis tended towards disdain and annoyance. To her, nothing but the Shadowbinder mattered.

Themis was often complained about by the Light-born dragons she was forced to share a lair with. They found her an annoyance at best, and outright hated her at worst. The feeling was mutual. Themis would spend many a night outside, watching the moon and the fireflies through the night rather than sleep in the same area as the Lightborns.

While her disrespect could be tolerated most of the time, the stream of complaints grew. Even the Shadowborn members of the clan had gone from grudging friends to grudging acceptance. Then dislike. While Charon, her father, thought is daughter just needed time, her more jovial nature-born mother worried about her.

Eventually, Themis was called over to the leaders. Sometimes, she was fine, but now? Enough was enough. They told her to act a little nicer- and proposed a deal. Themis could go to visit her Nature Flight grandparents with Thalia, her mother, or there would be more serious action. If she managed well enough in the Nature exchange, and her mother approved, she would be allowed to represent the clan- and, to the logical conclusion- the Shadowbinder at inter-Flight events.

Naturally, she jumped at the chance. She flew off with Thalia, towards the nature flight.

Nobody quite knows what happened in the Nature flight, except maybe Eurybia and Era, the clan leaders. And while Themis seemed just as stuck-up and awful as before, she was given the green light.

Nowadays, Themis takes care of the clan's exalting and leads the efforts to please the Shadowbinder- a faithful servant until she too, one day, chooses to exalt and serve under her mistress with a new acolyte in her place.
