Ashera

Ashera left her birth-clan when she was an adult, and her studies took her to learn from fight-masters residing in all the flights. Her last teacher was from the Ice flight, and when she had learned all she could from the old Gaoler, she immediately flew to somewhere warm - The Viridian Labyrinth.

In the skies, she flew as high as her Nocturne wings could take her just to feel the sunlight on her wings, but when she passed over The Tangled Wood, she felt decidedly odd. Dizziness covered her and she lost half her altitude before she could shake the strange buzzing from her head.

When Ashera landed on the far shore of the muddy river that divided the Nature flight from the Water fight, she landed with a heavy THUD that left her footprints deep in the mud. She shook off the oddness that threatened to knock her off balance and stumbled through the humid undergrowth to find her way to the market. She felt like she was being followed, but every time she looked back she saw nothing behind her.

The bustling marketplace was aswarm with dragons and people and Ashera drifted aimlessly through the crowds, slightly befuddled and feeling like her body was someone else's, until she met a black Tundra with skeletal markings, red where hers was off-white.

"Greetings, stranger," Chaos greeted Ashera. "You look ill," he said with concern as he rushed to her side.

Ashera shook her head and blinked away the persistent confusion as she admitted, "I feel off, kind sir."

Chaos looked over his shoulder and motioned for several of his clan members to join him, then stepped aside so Valen and Moe could use their considerable strengths to hoist the Bogsneak between them and walk her to their distant clan-home. Chaos watched the second, darker Bogsneak that followed Ashera and mirrored her moves, and grew worried about the possibilities the dark dragon posed.
