Igneous is not much more than a background character in the clan. She comes and goes busily, bringing back food for the clan's stores, dutifully offering a word here and there to her clanmates. Most of them view her as a quiet, industrious dragon who likes to keep herself busy. If you have a prolonged conversation with her, however, you may just unravel the act right before your eyes.

She does spend her time gathering food. That much is true. However, few know that she gathers other materials as well, and a certain subset of those things she gathers find their home within Basalt's and her den, for use as potion ingredients. Where Basalt does the brewing, Igneous finds and prepares the ingredients. Precious few dragons are aware of their talents, but then, few have actively investigated their den, and they keep quiet about their professions. Their potions may help, harm, or transform depending on what you desire and how they feel towards you. Rumor has it, among those who know their profession, that this plague-eyed pair delve into their own potion stores to maintain their off-point volcanic camouflage (a difficult change to maintain), but Igneous doesn't care to confirm or deny such questions.

Igneous, on her part, is rather...non-judgmental. You would think this is a good thing, but it goes both ways; in the same way she generally won't feel ill will towards someone, she also generally won't feel good will. She's infuriatingly passive and apathetic towards everything. She just doesn't seem to care much about anything, a major problem when coupled with her mate's meddling ways, which she generally goes along with. All that seems to motivate her is self-preservation.
