Iris is part of the Vree Chel Noke swarm, a swarm of Veilspuns dedicated to gathering information about the universe. However, her portion of the swarm was captured by a facility which turned their own hypnotic abilities against them in order to force the swarm into becoming their spies. A crew of smugglers managed to free the swarm, allowing most of them to return to hiding. Iris is the representative of a group that chose to remain behind to aid them.
She gets along with the AIs and robots of the clan, and will occasionally jack into the AI mindscape. She also is not fluent in most modern Sornieth languages, but has mostly figured out Fae sign.
She is agender but uses she/her pronouns in Sornieth Common.
