Jan 2023: Message received. Packing potions and healing supplies to meet Afar & Co. in Plague. He expects trouble.

Mate for Mezzo
The caladrius is a mythological, snow-white bird from Roman mythology said to be capable of absorbing the sickness from a human. Once a sickness has been absorbed, the bird would fly away into to disperse the disease, curing both itself and the person it absorbed the sickness from. Some myths state the bird would fly into the sun instead, destroying the sickness as a result. Likewise, some myths state the bird will only absorb the sickness if it looks at the diseased person, in some myths this only happens if that person is pure of heart.
