The craftiest member of the argosy, Gloxinia practically forced her way in, both as a crewmate and a resident of Astéri Lune. When the Veilspun dragons returned to contemporary Sornieth, many had to eke out a place to stay among the modern breeds. Gloxinia, finding it to be more trouble than its worth, decided to (quite literally) throw herself into situations until something stuck.

Seeing the argosy on one of its sails, Gloxinia decided to land on the lofty crow's nest of the ship to rest. At the very least, she's quite helpful on the argosy, both in battle and with sales. Her vehemence helps to make sales and trades with baffled patrons that are just trying to keep up with what she's doing, and a Veilspun's ability to hypnotize foes works wonders in battle, even if she doesn't do the fighting herself.

As she does with all things, Gloxinia inserted herself into Alessia and Skarde's home as a place to live. Both of them argued with this, but perhaps from a Veilspun's ability to hypnotize, or maybe from her natural charm, they eventually relented. Perhaps its her sweet gaze as well as her big smile that makes it hard to say no, even for the unflappable captain of the argosy.

She can put up a very convincing innocent front, but is very cunning and calculating. She does, for the most part, have good intentions, but she uses unconventional methods to get what she needs. Many distrust her for this, feeling that she's truly up to no good. But her crewmates on the argosy believe in her, being the ones to see her genuine personality often.

Gloxinia is a delightful friend to have, always genuine to those she's closest to. On her trips out on the argosy, she'll bring back little trinkets that reminded her of friends to give. If she truly wants something, she'll work her hardest to obtain it, even if her methods are questionable. At the very least, one knows when she truly wishes to be around them, given that she won't leave.
