Valour's got a weird problem! They're muted. Can't make a sound! Not a peep, footstep, snore, or anything. Velour couldn't talk until they figured out how to use magic to make other things make sound for them. Whenever they 'talk' everything arounds you vibrates and it sounds like someone's talking. I have NO idea how they figured out that trick. I don't think anyone's ever heard their actual voice? Weird. That's going to wrinkle my brain.

Right, right, they don't make any sound at all. It's why they're usually playing music from their instrument or their squawk boxes or whatever so they don't scare you. They're nice like that.

Also! Get a load of this - The person who can't make any sound is the curator of our sound museum. Wild! They like to poke and prod at things to see what sounds they make and they collect them in this recorder they carry everywhere. I'm going to be honest it gets kind of annoying, but apparently it's important to log it for 'posterity' and 'real cool magic'.
