Tunrida is the name of a Scandinavian female devil that lives and prays in the desolate tundra planes of the north.

Tunrida, also known as The Profane Saintess and Mother Tunrida, is the founder and first member of The Profane Pantheon.

While she was one of many dragons born of profane origins, the call of Ignis the Beast granted her guidance to bring about her brothers and sisters of accursed birth and challenge the 11 deities of Sornieth's power with their own.

Long abandoned by her birth-clan, she had nothing holding her back from this quest, and proceed to leave her isolated cave in search of others like her and help them ascend to higher power.

She started by following traces of Ignis's lineage, hoping her descendants could grant her insight as to where others like her may lurk. This lead her to be welcomed into Hystur Clan.

Hystur Clan lies deep within the confines of shadow territory, with an ancient tower twisting into the sky, and housed many secrets within the depths that lie below the surface. This was The Obscured Temple.

She was welcomed as she was into the clan, and decided to make a home herself in the temple's lower levels, which housed others of cursed origins similar and different to her own. A perfect place to start the pantheon, a safe place for those like her. The descendants of Ignis welcomed her as she settled in, and aided her on her quest as she prepared a place for the pantheon's members and worshipers to reside.

It was a long time of preparation, but at last her new home was ready to welcome
the wandering souls of cursed birth to claim as their sanctuary, and she was off. She left the clan for a long time, and on her travels she found the first three children of profanity, Rhys, The Weaver, and Ceto.

She took them in as her own, and upon returning to the clan conducted a ritual to awaken the eldritch powers within them. The trinity became the first leaders of the pantheon, and are referred to as The Three Saints of The First Clutch. The First Clutch being marked as the anniversary of their rebirth into gods upon adulthood, and also for the same ritual that ascended Tunrida herself along with the three hatchlings.

From there finding ones of similar origins became easier with their new powers, and the pantheon quickly began growing into something more than an old nocturne and her cursed clutch of three.
