Laverne

The sand fills the air and chokes.
No need to hide. It's all inevitable anyway.
Still
Up and at them. We've many miles to go.

Their name comes out like cracks in the strata, striking with no discernable beginning or end.
For ease, "Laverne" is used.

Reliable, with a hell of a lance arm to back up her words.
Yet approachable and amiable, not one to keep away a stranger.
She is a bit forgetful when it comes to chores.

Let there be no mistake though. She is another part of the beyond.
And the odd look in her eye, the strange weight in the air when agitated,
the stirring of the dust -- are all she gives as warning.
Faithfully ever under service to the boundless Wilds, first and foremost.

Has the uncanny ability to sense the weak points in armor.
