Biography
Aldrich, Devourer of Gods wrote:
Aldrich, once a holy cleric, foresaw an age unlike anything the world had ever seen. The Kindling which prevented natural death and the Darksign shackling the Darkness in human souls made them like stagnant pools of water, Darkness consumed to remain sane piling up like sediment within them. One day this pool would grow so wide and so deep that it would flood the world, like the Age of Dark, yet darker still.
In secret, he nurtured his vision, consuming other men to grow stronger. In spite of his obvious corruption, he was chosen by the Church of White to become a Lord of Cinder. As a Lord, he could do as he pleased, and indulged all the more merrily in his vices. He went so far as to father countless children, only to consume them along with sacrifices provided by his faithful servants. He grew and grew until his body could no longer maintain its shape, collapsing into sludge.
An outsider from the Painted World of Ariandel, Sulyvahn sought a power more esoteric than that of the world he was born into and had no special love for. After becoming a follower of Aldrich's teachings, the pair set their sights on the ancient cathedral of Anor Londo and the god who still dwelled there, guarding Gwyn's tomb as he had since time now immemorial. Only now, he was truly alone, with Ornstein long since left, Smough dead, and with few Darkmoon Blades left. Sulyvahn joined their ranks, turning the Blades to faith in the Deep, and together, overpowered Gwyndolin.
Meek as he was for a god, his power had not waned over the ages, stronger than any mere human. But now, he was defenseless, at the mercy of the merciless man-eater. The pair delighted in his misery.

Gwyndolin was known for his bow whose special arrows were blessed by the moon
From Gwyndolin's dreams, Aldrich saw a pale girl in hiding, and from that dream, a miracle.
