As you approach the entrance to the mysterious City Onihm, a glittering skydancer emerges from it and greets you with a wide grin, his wings spread in an impressive display. He struts towards you, a slight limp present in his front leg.
“Ah, the traveller arrives!” he speaks, flashing you a toothy smile. “My name is Bane.”
He takes an over-exaggerated bow.
“Come, come. You have much to see, my new friend.” he gently puts his tail around you and guides you towards the entrance. The first few steps you take into the City Onihm are in complete darkness; you’re forced to rely on Bane to keep you on track. Without any warning, two great wooden doors slowly part ways, revealing a gigantic, candle-lit hall, alive with the hustle and bustle of dragons of all shapes and sizes.
“Do be careful not to get yourself lost, the citadel can get quite crowded. Just be sure to follow me and I’ll keep you safe.” he says with a wink. He leads you through the busy halls, carefully avoiding the other dragons, before coming to a stop in front of another grand set of doors. After a few gentle knocks, the doors open, and Bane turns to face you once more.
“This is where I leave you, traveller. I hope you enjoy your stay.” he gives you one last grin and leaves you to walk through the doors.
