 B I O G R A P H Y
GusGus is a super special snapper and he's fantastic just look at him look at his beautiful face. I entered the tiny room, that was packed with dragons of all different sizes, and took the last remaining seat. It was right in the front row, which I hated, but that's what happens when you are late. My cell mate was there also sitting with a group of his friends and they snickered as I sat down. The next 6 months were going to be miserable but if i could make it through them, I would be free. Free of this prison and free of this horrifying addiction. I was glad for my family and friends who supported me and got me the help i needed. Drugs ruined my life and I knew that if it weren't for prison I would be dead. The headmaster of the prison stood in front of the room, eagerly awaiting her chance to speak. Her name was Pickles and she was a snapper like me. She spoke of her overwhelming addiction to painkillers and admitted that she once was like all of us but now she could be a role model to all of us on how she overcame her fight. Each prisoner stood up and told the story of how and why they got addicted. Soon it would be my turn and I had no idea what to say. I was nervous, so when the microphone got to me, i dropped it. I began stuttering and a kind, elderly dragon patted me on the shoulder and told me "you can skip today and go next time, that way you will be prepared. We were all new once! My name is Deazal and I work as the prison chef. Nice to meet you!" He was a coatl and he was very friendly and outgoing. I was glad to have met him! After the meeting, I stumbled back to my cell and collapsed on my bunk. Tears were streaming down my face and soon a large figure was at my cell door. It was Pickles, the headmaster. She came to check up on me and offer me a way out of my sentence so I wouldn't get picked on so harshly. I eagerly accepted her job offer and was promoted to prison secretary. My job was to register all of the new inmates and check out all of the exiting prisoners. This was a very important job and I couldn't screw it up. The whole prison was counting on me! I felt honored and for the first time in my life, I was proud of what I had accomplished!
