Lagoon x Hydrangea
Ah, Lagoon and Hydrangea, the sappiest lovebirds to exist. Charlie told me all about how Lagoon fell in love with her. At first, he was real scared of her but he's a scaredy-cat so of course he was. They warmed up to each other when Charlie 'accidentally' got them lost and stuck together on one of their trips. Apparently, Hydrangea protected and comforted him the whole time. You wouldn't think it just looking at her. Anyways that was how Lagoon developed feelings for her and Charlie urged him to just confess already, but he was really nervous y'see? He spent 3 months, 3 whole months! coming up with a love song for her. It worked in the end though, and man if that's not love... Hydrangea basically acts apathetic to everyone else but Lagoon too, so I think she had a soft spot for him even before he confessed.
Cygnus and Pavo? They're quite the lovebirds despite their appearances~ Cygnus, ya see, is the type that has a real hard time voicing his affections. I heard that he would call for Pavo's help any time he could just to see her and would get all out of sorts when he couldn't. Vega tells me that he didn't even know what he was feeling and thought he was sick or something. He's also real prickly so it was way out of character for him. Anyways, y'know how Skydancers can sense emotions and stuff? Well, Pavo picked up on his feelings pretty quick before he even realized it. She liked him too so she just up and confessed to 'im! I know she speaks snotty but she's actually real straightforward. I heard Cygnus was super embarrassed and holed himself up in his study for a week before he finally accepted. I swear that Pavo has the patience of a saint to wait a whole week just for him to be honest with his feelings. Well, I guess she is a Skydancer.

Hm... to be honest, I don't know much about how they got together. They don't like talking about it and even when I ask around, everyone says that it just kind of happened one day? I found out from Coral that Mayall was the one who confessed though! He doesn't look the type, right? It was super funny. I thought Coral would be the one to confess for sure since Mayall can be pretty... well I don't wanna be rude but he kinda keeps to himself y'know? It's not really shyness, but a sorta rigidness? Anyways, they don't get to meet much since Coral's usually out helping Koi with her ship so when they do get to be together, they stick to each other like glue. Everyone knows it so they cut them some slack whenever they're together. Even Jupiter, y'know the dense and blunt Jupiter?

My big sis'll never admit it but she's been in love with Fletcher for so long it's not even funny! She's pretty good at controlling her emotions though, so Fletcher only thinks that Moon admires and likes her as a friend. It's so frustrating! Sis says she'll kill me if I ever spill the beans, but I'm starting to think that that might be more preferable at this point. I mean, I probably wouldn'tve noticed if we weren't sisters so I can't blame Fletcher either. I just wish sis had even a smidge of the openness from our mom.

My parents? Ahaha, mom tells the story of how she and dad got together so much that I know it like the back of my claw! So dad right. He's kind of timid and prefers to keep to himself. He didn't like talking to people unless aunty was with him too. But 'th only expectation to this was mom! She's real chatty like me and loves speaking to everyone! Dad usually would've gotten tired, but mom was different. She was always gentle and kind, letting him speak when he wanted and listen when he was tired. And dad was a good listener, he helped mom to calm down and organize things all the time and he loved doing it. So one night, he called mom out during the night. This night, there was a meteor shower you see! Dad invited her out to see them and stargaze. And as the shower ended, he took mom by the hands, pointed up to Polaris above, and said, "You are my Polaris, I love you! Won't you be with me?" It was so romantic! Dad gets real embarrassed whenever we bring it up though!

Mmmm those two huh? I've seen Alexis once or twice. She's always hard at work taking care of Charlie's little circus so I'd never imagined that she even had a lover! I heard from Storm though that she not only has a husband but a kid too! There was a letter see that he jus' took a itty 'bitty peek at and it was dripping with sickly sweet love poetry. The sender was apparently someone named Vepar, Storm said he was a little scientist type Nocturne. Who would've guessed huh? I guess even the all-work-no-play Alexis has a soft spot. I wanted some updates on their situation, but Storm told me that they haven't been getting any letters from that Vepar recently. I wonder what happened?
Ugh, Corvus. I couldn't ever understand him! Falls in and out of love like it's nothing. One week he'll be following around and singing the praises of his "star-crossed lover" then turn around and do it to the next "cute dragon" or whatever. I seriously can't and don't want to understand him! What does he think love is?! At least he has the decency not to intrude on couples who're already in love. Or maybe he just doesn't want to get beat up? He followed me around for a while too, but thankfully he gave up before too long.
What's there to say 'bout these two? They're the clan's oldest couple and even though they're always super busy runnin' things, they always somehow find time for each other at the end of the day. They also work so well together almost like a synchronized hoard of Veilspun or something! It's really amazing and just goes to show how long they've been together. Nobody really knows how they got together though. Everyone jus' says they've always been lovey dovey since forever! Nebula gets super embarrassed and quiet when I asked him, but Vega has lots of tall tales about how they met, like how she wished upon a star and Nebula came crashing down from the sky. I think the most likely story was the one where she found and rescued him from a big beast and he decided to help her. Well, not the beast part, but y'know, the rescuing part.
Those two huh? I heard from Charlie but apparently, Melusa fell for Gemini at first sight. Couldn't even function around her at first cuz that was how lovestruck they were. I mean, I know they can be a bit of a goof but that was unexpected. Gem apparently was happy to be friends with 'em and hit it off right when they met but Ini of course is all protective and skeptical of anyone who comes close to her sis. She got totally caught off guard since Melusa directed their affections at the both of them though. Anyways, Ini eventually grew to accept them and now she protects Melusa as fierce as she does her sis. And honestly, I don't think I've ever seen anyone other than Melusa make Ini laugh.

Io's kinda wierd to be honest. He just washed up to the hatchery one morning, pretty banged up. Honestly, he looked like he was on death's door! Real scary. One of the hatchlings spotted him in the water, thought he was driftwood actually. Koi helped fish him out and Fletcher healed him up. I was curious so I helped out too. Then when he worked up, the first thing he did was start raving and searching like mad, yelling about "my truth, my Verita" or some such! I figured out he was talking about a lover of his actually that he'd been separated from. Io tried to leave again when he figured she wasn't at the hatchery but we weren't having none of that since he was still recovering. I told him that maybe she'd visit the hatchery and should just wait for now. I'm honestly kind of worried about him, but well, true love knows no bounds y'know?
