Biography
Name: Maeve
-Youngest Derg
-No Mate
-Troublemaker
-They/Them
Abandoned.
An egg stolen by the river one fateful day; a massive tide washed through an abandoned lair. Pieces of egg long thought hatched or dead were swept up in the flowing waves. All but one shattered under the pressure. An egg of Arcane, intricate stylings of inscriptions lined the outer walls of the shell. A spell of protection. One last plea to the Arcanist to keep her child alive.
It was Draconis who found the little egg one cloudy morning.
The Spiral scooped the egg out of the river and up into his claws, light green eyes gazing in wonderment over his discovery. With a loud cheer, he swiftly tucked the egg into safely and took to the air to show Amara and Valkin his find, quite pleased with himself.
Of course, Orion was a little nervous at the egg brought into the lair. The columns had said nothing to him of a new member to join their clan. But Valkin was intent on keeping the little one here, adamant that they'll need someone to look after them when they hatch. That the columns had spoken to HIM about a new child to look after. His words calmed the clan leader and that was that.
Valkin named them Maeve the day they hatched.
Dewy scales, soft and not yet durable. A long, forked tongue hung from their mouth, bright pink eyes raising to the Imperial. A Bogsneak, Valkin noted with some pride. The other hatchlings welcomed Maeve into their lives easily; the three others swamped them the second Valkin set Maeve down on their little feet. It warmed the Imperial's heart knowing that his little family grew by one more.
