Tamat told his tale of creation, speaking in a harsh voice that suggested that some creature put his vocal chords through a grindstone. Struggled breaths rasped inbetween his sentences, and yet there was not a single semblance of weakness in his stature. His body is visibly failing on him, and despite that he keeps standing, ready for combat.

"From the earth I came, the rage of a thousand slain warriors shaping the body. Thrashing, the solid stone my prison. I bested it and felt this filthy air fill my lungs.
Even as I speak it burns me, but I stand in the land of the living. Your fallen brethren, family, friends, and enemies- I am their afterlife."

Tamat moves slowly, but with purpose. He has grace in his stride, impressive for the equivalent of a machine breaking apart and being hastily repaired.

His relationship with Ifral, the holy king is complicated. Some view them as lovers, others as two kings who- while they agreed upon shared kingship- are at a silent war with eachother. Another may claim that Tamat is a lich and Ifral is merely a thrall- Or the other way around. How they met and how their kingdom came to be is shrouded in history that seemed to be purposefully lost, deemed unimportant.
