Biography
The problem with Meg is that she doesn't know how she came to be.
She knows the events, she knows them well. It's the how and the why that's the confusing part.
She remembers, a tree, a vast ancient tree the Glademother herself grew, she remembers that it towered over the forests, much like the Behemoth today. The tree bloomed the brightest flowers of every color, every year when it bloomed dragons would pick the flowers and make everything from medicine to crowns to gifts to food. She remembers that it started to die, something started to kill the tree, and it made everyone worried, every year the flowers were less and less.
Meg remembers the last year very well, she remembers growing and blooming, the last flower on the tree, so low to the ground that even the smallest hatchlings could pick her petals, but no one did, no one dared to come close to the last flower. Meg remembers wind, and being released from her branch, and then being able to see.
She remembers waking up in a pool that swirled with white magic like her petals. And then it was gone, and Meg was left alone seeing for the first time. She remembers how terrifying it felt to realize you were completely alone.
Meg knows how she got to Clovergate, and the day she realized that no one knew of the tree that once stood over everything. She remembers the day Lord Nightstrike asked her to be an advisor on nature magic to him, and she remembers the day she met Amaranth for the first time.
The problem is, though, she doesn't know how she cam to be.
