nestmates-
Mocha

Cocoa arrived to our lair as a newborn Skydancer. The Nature clan she came from heard of our search for a chocolate female for Mocha, Pearl's adopted son. Cocoa was sent with great haste, and the Nature clan received treasure in return. Soon afterward, Johar, our clan Patriarch and healer, discovered that Cocoa and Mocha were in fact related.

Cocoa's mother and Mocha's grandmother are the same dragon; making them second-cousins. Here's their family tree

When Cocoa's Nature clan heard of this outcome, they refused to believe it. For Mocha's mother had given birth to a Fae, not a Skydancer. Mocha's life-saving transformation story was shared with them. Yet, all they appeared concerned with was the traded treasure and not the infant Skydancer they recently gave away. They did not want her back.

By this time, Mocha had grown fond of the infant, defending her protectively within his chocolate wings. His adopted mother, Pearl, sensed the familial bond growing between them and declared they would not be separated.

Cocoa thrived in her new home and grew up beautifully.

While Mocha left the lair to nest with Chai, Cocoa entertained herself by raiding her cousin's wardrobe.

Mocha returned to the lair with 3 newborns.
