Biography

Malik, the possessed statue. Mate of Methystia.

When Methystia's late mate Aquarian was chosen to serve alongside the Shadowbinder, she fell into despair and loneliness. With only his old armor and sword left to her as mementos, she had little to remember him by. Time eventually warped both her memories of him and her own mind, remembering her late mate instead as a powerful Guardian dragon with a wildly different personality.

Taking up his old sword, she carved a statue of how she now remembered him, creating a beautiful lifelike piece out of quartz and amethyst. As a final touch, she placed his old armor upon the statue - and it came to life! The old spirit that possessed the armor, no longer having to compete against another consciousness, took ahold of the carved body fully. Introducing himself as "Malik", his intentions are unknown - but Methystia is smitten with him.
