Captain, Master, Friend
As pirate captain and all-around loose cannon, Nil is tolerated byAlisaveri because he pays her a significant cut of all treasure reaped by his crew's antics. His crew is half true plundering pirate and half disenfranchised warrior, tinkerer, inventor or healer, signed on out of desperation, or in hopes of protection from old enemies. Nil is a fair master; he desires treasure, security, a little fame, and plenty of embellished legends starring himself, but otherwise has few vices and is wise in his allocation of crew resources.

First mate Esca is his trusted right-hand dragon among the crew and is largely responsible for making sure everyone is in the right place and with the right equipment to bring down whatever prey they set themselves against. Nil bought the tinker Sigurin's debit after his not-so-small accident involving a large and very powerful arc reactor (it went boom) and now the mad ridgeback keeps their flying tub of lightning and wishes afloat. Most of the time. Nil's buddy Zion is really just there for the money, but if the crew gets themselves into too much trouble, Zion will call Jio and Jio will save the day (like that time with the Crowned Roc).
