Oriel didn't really want to be king, he was already in love and had a family, but the moment the Queen laid eyes on him she knew she had to have him. He quickly left his role as a knight and wedded to the Queen, his true mate and the love of his life boycotted the marriage but was threatened to step down. He tries to be happy as her majesty's consort but hopes that she will tire of him and find someone new. He is the 11th king of Opaltopia due to the Queen being Immortal and unable to die until she chooses to, if Oriel can grant the Queen her wish of an heir he will be set free and the Queen will step down. Oriel has a lot of Anxiety and even though he is seen as the most handsome male in Opaltopia he does not see himself in the same light.
