Born of the harsh domain of the Charged Barrens, aboard a ragged ship of scrap metal and rust, Torben was raised to be the fiercest among the dune pirates. His parents, head of the crew that sailed on sand across seas of lightning, knew Torben was destined for power- born with lightning in his veins and Stormcatcher himself in his gaze....

If only they had asked Torben what he wanted.

He could survive the barrens like his parents, and their parents before them. He could ride on sand and lightning and build a ship on scrap alone. Yet the hard exterior that was made for him was only for show- for his insides might as well be made of fluff.
