Amaranth

The studious younger brother, he never comprehended his siblings' thirst for adventure. While he tagged along and enjoyed new discoveries, he was just as happy finding these new discoveries in the scrolls and tomes of the clan's library. He loved learning about the history of the clan and of dragonkind and magic, and delighted in the smiles he earned from his mother whenever he got a spell from a book just right. Even if the spell did burst in her proud face a moment later. While exploring, he used his magic to make light for his siblings to see, and was first to speak up if he thought they were venturing too far from home.

Edging into the world beyond his home lair, he seeks a clan that understands knowledge and magic. He wants to be a mage. Not a battlemage like his mother, but a lorekeeper whose breed-given memory may keep all his new clan's secrets and knowledge.
