Biography

Mistaken for an Arcane dragon, Orchid keeps watch over a small portal in the heart of the Starwood Strand. It's a lonely task, but Orchid takes solace in journaling and recording wildlife activity. The portal itself is inactive, only occasionally sparking or glowing faintly. Though there are a few instances where something else happened...

I was musing to myself about a strange, faint tune I had heard from the portal. As I stared at the dusking sky, this verse came to mind:

They think the stars are all
But there's more beyond their call

What does it mean, if anything? Who are "they?" And what call is it referring to?

I sometimes wonder if this portal is sapping my sanity.
