When exploring by the wyrmwound, a pair of twin skydancer hatchlings quickly learned why the general area was out-of-bounds to play in.

"As long as we're together, we can explore anywhere!"

Perhaps they were right.

Now adults, the Ilarya twins are keen on strengthening their shared body using concoctions brewed from the wyrmwound, and will offer their risky wares to any other plague-infested dragons or Aberrations willing to gamble for a taste of power. Come, come, take a look at their swirling, bubbling cauldron, which houses yet unnamed pungent concoctions. Will you get stronger, or join your ancestors trying?

---

The Ilarya twins find themselves unable to lay eggs, but that doesn't seem to perturb them all too much. Rather than make a nest and foster a clutch, which would likely be awkward considering their familial status before becoming an Aberration, the ladies instead take eggs from other nests that appear to be still and cold and have been surrendered as lost by their parents. They then methodically expose their newfound 'children' to the very same pathogen that forced their own two bodies together at a young age. This ultimately results in the two hatchlings that otherwise would have been lost sharing their dwindling life force with one another, granting them just enough strength to survive the ordeal at the cost of becoming an Aberration themselves. The Ilarya twins proudly proclaim this concept to be the 'essence of the Plague Flight in itself', and disregard any naysayers on the matter.

Is it a blessing, or a sick obsession with their own trauma that causes them to persevere in this endeavor? Perhaps it's best not to know.

Each head of the Ilarya twins takes on a role in parenting her children. While one is a bit more aggressive and protective, the other is far more emotional and studious, though both could be considered mysterious and intimidating as parents. The Ilarya twins will care for and train their children in the art of alchemy before turning them loose upon the realms of Sornieth as naught more than a footnote in their documents of research. It is rare for them to receive letters or visits from their children, though particular favorites are always welcome in their domain.
