Hunter

The Tangled Wood was a hunter's nightmare and paradise both. The ever-present darkness levelled the field, so to speak, for within the gloom all eyes were rendered equally blind. Among the strangling thorns and faintly glowing fungi even the weakest of prey were cunning tricksters, and a moment's complacency could easily spell the end for the unwary predator.

Not that it was a problem for a certain keen-eyed veilspun. Born in the Shadowbinder's domain, Hunter had been named for his deadly grace and subtlety, allowing him to disguise his movements as shifting shadows to hypnotise his unfortunate targets before striking. Since his migration to the Spiral Keep, Hunter has adjusted his tactics accordingly. Now, the veilspun takes care to move in such a way that his green scales and dark mane look like floating seaweed, all the better to mesmerise any foolish enough to look his way. Whether on land or at sea, Hunter remains at the apex of the food chain - something he is glad to prove to any doubters.
