In the lands beyond the Snowsquall Tundra,
Where the skies stretch endlessly,
There lived a dragon named North,
A grey Skydancer wild and free.

His wings were wide, his eyes keen,
His heart full of the thrill of flight,
As he soared across the open skies,
Chasing the sun's fading light.

North was born in a land of ice and snow,
Where the wind howled and the cold bit deep,
But he found her joy in the endless expanse,
Where he could fly and play and sleep.

And though he loved his freedom,
He felt the tug of something more,
A longing to connect with others,
To find a mate and settle down for sure.

Then one day as she was flying,
He caught sight of a shimmering white,
And as he drew closer he saw,
A dragon who took his breath away in sight.

South was her name, a healer,
Whose scales sparkled in the light,
And North knew in that moment,
That she had found his heart's delight.

They courted under the endless sky,
Dancing and playing in the air,
And when they came together,
Their love was a bond beyond compare.

North and South built a nest together,
And soon they had little ones to raise,
And as the family grew and flourished,
North knew that he would always stay.

For though the winds may blow him,
And the skies may call his name,
Her heart was bound to his family,
And to his mate, a shining flame.

And so North lived out his days,
A grey Skydancer soaring high,
But always with her heart tied to the ones,
Who made her feel she could touch the sky.
