Waves crash onto an abandoned shore. She is entirely sure that she is the only one who lives on the island, has traversed the length and breadth of it several times over, although what she is doing can only barely be considered living. A stray Maren brought her cloth in exchange for some plants from the island- A deal both of them knew was more out of charity than a genuine need for coconuts and herbs. Every day was spent staring at the sky, hoping someone, anyone, would appear looking for her and she could finally find out why she ended up there. The ocean surrounding her hurt, like knives into her skin. Even looking at it too long made her eyes well up with tears.
