There are tales told by those that live in the Southern Icefield, tales of beautiful but deadly creatures made of the purest snow. These creatures are never seen for more than a moment before fading into invisibility among the icy terrain. Some dragons claim the Snow Leopards are kind, saving lost travelers from a frozen death. Others tell of vicious predators that tear their prey apart with blood-soaked claws, the red being the only spot of color on them.

The hide and feathers of Dotted Snow Leopards are designed for camouflage. The patterns of spots allow them to hide among rocky, snowy terrain, where they lie in wait for prey to cross their path. Behaviorally, Dotted Snow Leopards tend to be very patient and observant, but prefer to isolate themselves and tend not to travel in packs or clans. When in clan environments, their natural inclination towards stealth and observation make them excellent scouts.
