lore notes:
-he's a former forensic detective assigned to yumei's case because they're around the same size
-did not, in fact, sign up to the force to try and predict this tiny terror's next attack
-did not, in fact, sign up to the force to also apprehend this tiny terror whenever they find evidence(he does not hit very hard but it's annoying, ok)
-generic cynical noir detective except he's all small and squeaky so he isn't taken very seriously
-has the same clothing problem as yumei
-tiny office at the very back of the station, it is very crowded(think arrietty styled tools)
-severe caffeine addiction, chews gum when he can't drink coffee
-looks calm and collected on the outside but on the inside he is screaming. very squeakily though
-occasionally sent out to search other crime scenes for tiny clues(he appreciates those breaks a lot)
-aside from that, he's a rather good biochemist(seeing as he's from, you know, plague) and is called in to crack hard cases where the traces of an agent are very small OR hard to isolate.

miscellaneous stories:

-saved meiying from a gang once, now she wants to tag along with him on detective business. it annoys him to no end, naturally. but that's only because he's worried about her.
-hired by the therapist to find his lost friend who he swears up and down is alive. he probably isn't. while investigating, he finds out what the both of them have under wraps.
