Biography
Lady Luck
influences;
hatched from an abandoned nest, surrounded by the rotting eggs that once contained her siblings
things always seem to go her way
never had to try for anything, she's a little spoiled
she eventually came to live with our circus and in return for her labour & servitude Phthonos helped her become her "true self" (nocturne to skydancer + all her lovely genes)
her labour only consists of living within the circus and allowing her good fortune to help revitalize our show
she fell in love with cazador at first sight and continues to pursue her despite being turned down once already- she's convinced that their love will stand the test of time and that their union may save cazador from her gruesome fate

The Cost of Fortune.
Living in a circus gave Fauna a lot of time to reflect on balance. The balance of the performers, graceful and lithe twisting their bodies in the air or across the ground. The balance of coin, the give and take of commerce. Even the balance of nature. Not that much nature was available in this twisted place. She found it somewhat comforting, though she would never admit it. Her first moments in the world were surrounded with rot, the scent of her siblings that never made it from the egg. They would never know pain, or suffering. Just because she was luckier than most did not mean that she was blind to the sorrows of the world. Sometimes she wondered if her luck was paid for with their lives. There was a balance in the world after all. For her to be blessed surely someone must bear a curse.
She moved gracefully, unaffected– at least to any watching eyes, of the dank cursed air. Her claws hit something on the ground and she looked, it was a small silken bag a handful of coins clinking inside. The bag itself used to be something pretty, but now it was threadbare and dull. The small pittance was a fortune to someone less affluent than her, and it brought her mind back to balance. For this to come into her possession someone else must lose it. Her thoughts turn to Cazador, her longing palpable. Uncertainty plagued her. The gods of fortune, the ones who so blessed her could not be that cruel. Her luck could not come at the pain of the one she yearned for. It would be much too big of a coincidence. Deciding to banish such rubbish from her thoughts a young dragon came into view. She was thin and haggard, her once bright scales now dull. She looked desperately at the ground her dark uncommon eyes raking the thick grass. Fauna did not recognize her, just one of many patrons that pass through the cursed lands. When the stranger’s attention was elsewhere, she tossed the small satchel, it landing next to the dragon’s feet. With a gasp of relief she scooped it up and rushed off, Fauna watching with calculating eyes. Yes, there was a cost to her fortune, and one day she would know what it was.
