Violence, pain, death, abuse, anger, sadness. That was all Wrathful could see, feel, hear. A sadness in her heart as she did her best to shield her sisters from their parents endless fighting in the other room. The fighting they were forced to watch if they couldn't come up with an excuse to leave quick enough. It was horrible, and a deep hatred toward her parents started to form in Wrathful's heart. They always wondered why Wrathful never trusted them near her sisters.

Wrathful rarely ate, causing her to be lighter than her sisters, Nagini and TwozeroTwozero. She had a fear that they had poisoned her food, and she always tried to talk her siblings down from eating it, but they insisted it was OK and continued. Her parents would constantly punish her for this, locking her in the closet or just straight up seeming like they were trying to kill her. They always wondered why Wrathful never trusted their cooking.

Their parents continuous fighting started to wear down Wrathful's mind, and even rubbed off on her. While she was never violent towards her sisters, she could be heard in her room beating her pillows until the stuffing came out of them, screeching incoherent words. Her sisters grew terrified at first, but soon realized her violence was aimed towards her parents. Her parents however, got annoyed when she tried to fight back, saying she should "stay down if she wanted to live" before going back to fighting each other. They always wondered why Wrathful grew so violent.

Wrathful and her sisters were never allowed to have pets, or even help the wildlife. Anytime they brought in an animal, it would mysteriously disappear, never to be seen again. Wrathful's parents always denied her accusations towards them, and said they must have gotten out. The irony was, Wrathful's parents wanted her to bond with a familiar of her own. They always killed off anything she tried to get attached to, sometimes even threatening other dragons' lives. They always wondered why Wrathful never wanted to get too attached to anyone or anything.

When Wrathful finally got out of that horrid situation, her sisters were quick to follow suit. While they went their separate ways, Wrathful would never forget what they looked like. She would never forget her parents' misdeeds towards her and her sisters. And in the end, they would always wonder why they weren't better parents.

Wrathful sat in her study, reading a letter from the army telling her about new recruits and allies. She was stressed; a Veilspun who had came to the clan a while ago had decided to take a test to see if she was related to anyone there. Determining a Veilspun's lineage was fairly difficult; the way to find a member of a Veilspun's family was by looking at their mane of hair. Well, more like feeling it. Every Veilspun's hair felt different, but family's had hair that felt the same. The easiest way to test for relatives was simply by cutting off a portion of each Veilspun's mane, and comparing them.

Someone had came and told Wrathful that they tested just about every Veilspun in the forest, and had no luck. Except for her children. The heirs were related to Fallen in some way, and they wanted to see if Wrathful was related to Fallen in some way. She let them take a bit of her mane, and they went to compare it with Fallen's. Still stressed, Wrathful got up and started pacing.

Thoughts raced through her head as she walked from one side of the room to the other. A knock sounded at her door. Wrathful's breath caught in her throat, a thousand more thoughts flooding her mind. What if she's related to me? Would that make her an heir as well? I'll have to make a room for her. But where would I put her? Definitely near my children, but would that be a good place? Another knock ripped her from her thoughts, as she quickly ran to answer the door. Their stood a small group of 4 guards surrounding Fallen and the "gene tester" as everyone called him. "Your highness-" he began, before being cut off by Fallen. The words she said caused her heart to almost stop.

"I'm your niece!" She yelled excitedly. "I never would have thought, but then again, my mom did say something about a sister she had who's name was Wrathful. I didn't think it would be you! Her name's Nagini, by the way, in case you recognize her name." Veilspun's usually cold look softened. They were related. She never would have expected Nagini to have hatchlings of her own, but she did, and now she had one with her to protect. She ordered the some maids walking by to get another royal chamber ready. Wrathful hugged Fallen, bringing her as close as she could to herself in a protective manner.

"I'll make sure nothing ever hurts you," she whispered to Fallen. "You'll have all the guards you'll ever need. You'll get anything and everything you ask for within reason. You'll be treated exactly like my own children, and given a full chance for the throne. Everyone will listen to your every word, and everyone will fear you. And I, will love you."
