Once a carefree water sprite, he was transformed into a tiny spiral by a wayward spell. Unused to his new form, he wandered far from home. He made his way into the desert, where he collapsed from thirst. Luckily, someone came by and rescued him. However, no one seems to believe that he's actually a fairy in a magical guise.

Notes:

When he was first transformed, Anarina could not speak any dragon languages. Because of this, he was enrolled in schooling alongside ordinary hatchlings. He found this process incredibly demeaning, but at least he knows how to communicate with dragons now.

Despite only being magically disguised as a dragon, Anarina doesn't know enough about dragon magic to turn himself back. (He still seems to have access to the water-based spells he had already mastered.) Although he could seek help from the clan's mages and scholars, he is slowly becoming quite fond of his dragon form. Plus, he's convinced that turning back into a fairy would ruin the little life he's building for himself as part of the clan.
