Mirabelle, now the sole heiress to the Kingdom of [name], sat with her talons clasped and her tail neatly wrapped around her legs, just like Mother taught her. Lively conversation bubbled in the air around her, mixing with the sound of silverware scraping across plates to create a stifiling energy that set her feathers buzzing. And yet she sat quietly, almost coldly, waiting for Mother to return. Her seat at the head of the table had been empty for some time now, but the guests, too delighted with their own ego-boosting conversations of which jewels were best, hardly seemed to notice.
One guard finally noticed. Mirabelle's eyes were drawn to his movement as he looked around for a moment before turning and leaving the dining hall. Mirabelle allowed herself to take a bite of roast rabbit as he undoubtedly searched for Mother. She felt one of her antennae twitch ever so slightly when that guard unceremoniously slid back into the room, obviously horrified. He leaned in to his fellow guard, and-
"Mirabelle darling, you've hardly touched your food!" A shrill voice snapped her attention in half and threw it away. She glanced to her left and saw her Auntie [name] scrutinizing her. Mirabelle felt her face contort once again into

@HorseSpirit Mirabelle is absolutely stunning. Peach Python's always been a favorite of mine for how you get that dark wine colored contrast, and the Ravenhearst accent complements it perfectly. The dried flowerfall is also really cool, because it gets both the dark dull red and the gold tones on each petal. She's beautifully composed - congratulations on finishing her! This new year's lady deserves all the love she can get and I gladly toss my like onto the pile.
