lAwakening from a nap on the edge of the marsh, Dante notes that he feels...odd. His mind is no longer quiet- occupied by the bickering of his siblings. Apodemia and Andromeda are squabbling over a mess.

"Why did you throw me into the bog you oaf! Now we're covered in filth!"

"I didnt do anything! You PUSHED ME IN! I couldn't help but drag you down with me!"

Ah.

That would be why Dante feels slimy and cold. While he should put an end to his sibling's argument, he has better things to do- cleaning himself of this filth. Dante stood and stretched his wing. It was stiff and sore, and wouldn't move well despite his command. His nap must have lasted way longer than anticipated. Just how long was he asleep? He looked to the sky for answers. While sunlight was filtering though the trees, the dense canopy prevented him from viewing the sun's position. He sighs and takes up the task of trying to groom himself and his siblings- a challenge considering his siblings jarring movements and refusal to cooperate. They'd rather snap at each other's heads and squirm than allow Dante to do his work.

Anger began bubbling up within him.
