Rose

The unwilling leader of the clan, Rose loathes the term 'matriarch' and will spear any unlucky dragon who addresses her as such with sharp words. She claims to have no interest in the dragons who have congregated around her, but her actions speak otherwise - for all her aloofness, she won't hesitate to defend her lairmates from threats both outside and within the cave. To see her angered is truly a frightening experience.

Day to day issues, however, are handled by Godric; although they had only come together romantically for a brief time borne of convenience rather than emotion, Rose still trusts him to maintain stability and counts him among her few close friends. She herself prefers to focus on researching ways to amplify questionably safe magic with the technology of the Shifting Expanse.

Her current romantic exploits are much more complicated. Somewhere along the way she's found herself entangled in the affections of both David and Strider, and while she seems content enough to share her love with both of them, the two males rarely see eye to eye on anything besides their mutual love for Rose.
