Nimbus

Nimbus stands out for a lot of reasons, the obvious one being her impressive size but the other being her sheer driven will to do anything she can to get around her species seemingly inbuilt water aversion. While other Ridgebacks have been known to attempt similarly (like the clans own Koboltti) she is much more, well, direct. Being an ice dragon she is very at home with ice and snow, which well, is water of course! So, Nimbus will freeze huge sections of water and then, to appeal to her love of digging, will just tunnel through the ice which tells you just how huge these sections of frozen ice are.

While she originally began these little ice tunnel adventures as a way to cope with her problems with water there became and interesting perk... Obviously every now and again fish would get stuck in her ice tunnels, naturally when she came across one it was like a little reward for her efforts. After a while of ice tunnelling, Nimbus realised if she was slightly more coordinated she could freeze whole schools of fish, chip them loose and bring them back to the lair and keep them fresh in the ice. She did this on a small scale for herself for a few months, but as she got better and better at it she couldn't let the fish go to waste! So she would offer her extra to others. The regular gathering team then reached out to her and asked she officially join to help fish with them and she happily accepted.

Her skills are now exceptional. She carries blades with her that she can shoot down into the water, propelled by her ice magic, and easily spear several fish at once before they can all scatter. As the blade is shot via ice, they are then held in place and can be pulled up to the surface. Nimbus can be seen now most days floating along the nearby ocean on a raft of ice. At a glance you simply never know how far down it leads.
