Throughout Sornieth there is an obscure urban legend about the entity simply referred to as "Countdown". It is said that every time a dragon celebrates something, Countdown will appear for just a moment in the edge of their vision. If one manages to catch them in the act, they will be granted good luck until the next celebration.

Many doubt the validity of this legend, as there is little to no proof of Countdowns existence. Those who do believe in them have a couple of theories about Countdowns nature, ranging from a simple spirit to an omnipresent being. No matter the theory though, it is generally agreed upon that Countdown is not actively malevolent, and that it pays to keep an eye out for a sunset-coloured figure whenever you're celebrating. Who knows, maybe your dreams might really come true...
