Biography
Eideann was hired for the Lanternlighters' expedition as a cartographer, tasked with mapping their mysterious section of the Hewn City. Her sure claw and sharp mind means she produces the most accurate maps of Beacon Town and the Everdark, a skill the Seekers have taken much advantage of in their quest to reach the center--the source--of the darkness. Perpetually burning, Eideann accompanies most expeditions; she knows the way, and with her magic she lights it for others. She has the peculiar ability to summon butterflies formed of fire. These manifestations cast a small amount of light, and cost very little energy to sustain; they are often used by the Seekers in place of lantern oil, which is rationed for Beacon Town's use. |

Faction
The Seekers, led by Lux, believe that the only way to break the curse on the Lanternlighters is to venture into the Everdark, seek out its source, and either reason with it or destroy it. They make frequent excursions into the darkness, accompanied only by lanterns and what magic they can afford, trying to map its corners and find the center. Lux theorizes that whatever lies at the heart of the Everdark is alive; perhaps, whatever it is, it can lift the curse. Eideann was one of the first dragons to declare her allegiance to the Seekers; they are the only group trying to fix the situation the Lanternlighters have found themselves in; the other factions are complacent -- or worse: ignorant. She doesn't know why so many dragons are willing to do nothing but sit and wait for the encroaching dark to swallow them all. |

Possessions
Eideann continues to requisition mapmaking tools, which she keeps meticulously organized in her tent. She has mapped many parts of the Everdark, and on her cartography table there lies a single, massive piece of parchment outlining every single thing she and the other Seekers have found in the Hewn City. It is a marvelous work of art; if the Guild ever leaves the Hewn City, it will be immensely valuable to other expeditions that venture in. Eideann keeps very little by way of personal possessions; there are far more important things, when the entire expedition is struggling to get by. But she does occasionally pick up a carving in the ruins to take home and study, in her own time. |

Lux | Leader | Seeker Faction Eideann has great respect for Lux, and they share an interest in history and the ancient ruins of the Hewn City. The two of them can easily get caught in long conversations about the buildings and treasures they've found in the Everdark while exploring, and they have a mutual admiration for each others' abilities and skills. They rarely disagree. |

Naos | Colleague | Sentinel Faction
Naos is the Lanternlighters' requisition officer, the dragon responsible for making sure supplies make their way into beacon town, and Eideann associates with her out of necessity; it is impossible to get more cartography equipment without Naos's cooperation. The two of them have a civil relationship, though they disagree on the course of action the Guild should take, and Naos makes sure Eideann is well-supplied. |

Virgo | Benefactor | Court of Waking Dreams Virgo was a very close friend of Eideann's before the expedition into the Hewn City, a fae queen who entered her dreams and never really left. They have remained in touch even since Eideann entered the Everdark, and while Eideann has refused Virgo's offers to spirit her away from the danger, Virgo has offered assistance in procuring the Lanternlighters some of their much-needed supplies. |

Addax | Mate | Salvager Faction
Eideann's mate was late for the expedition, and rather than being trapped in the Everdark with the rest of them he is now stuck outside. This is a relief to Eideann, knowing he is safe, and it's also helpful for the expedition; Addax is serving as a liaison to the outside world, helping get the Lanternlighters the supplies they need. Eideann misses him, but this is for the best. |
