Biography

Rook was once a guard in the service of a young Lord, having served his charge since his hatching, having dedicated every moment to his duty, becoming the younger Nocturne's friend and confident to keep him safe. Though his duty came to an end when quite abruptly one day, he was cast out and exiled from his home. The reason behind the expulsion and exile are not things Rook talks about, keeping it close to his chest, though he is prone to keeping a journal, which he is never without and it is quite common to see him writing in it.

Though like many others that had come to call this clan home, he was born different from other's of his species. His mother was an Imperial, the horns that adorn his head inherited from her as well as he slightly longer body, for a Nocturne. These features, at the time, made him seem imposing as a guard causing many to think twice about approaching the young Lord.

He often defers to others when it comes to things he does not understand, he is not ashamed to admit there are many things he does not understand, only really being confident in his fighting skills as it was what he was raised and trained for. Though he does appreciate those who are also different, finding comfort in the fact that he is not the only half-breed that shares sides of both his parents.

Rook simply stumbled upon the clan and simply requested to join. He didn't answer any questions about where he had come from, or who he was beyond his name and what skills he could bring to the clan and that was really only to convince them to allow him to join the clan. Rook is just trying to live a life that he never imagined that he would have, but he could not change the past and he could only look towards the future and he simply writes in his journal if he needs to but does not bring any of his past to this new clan. It is almost as if he was erasing his past, and in a sense he is simply because he can not bring himself to face the past. Though, eventually, the past will catch up to him as no one can run away from their past forever.
