B I O G R A P H Y

______ Erathaol is a very knowledgeable and level-headed dragon, and is often seen as “the voice of reason” amongst other sorcerers within the lair. They have unusually permeable scales on their body and delicate, paper-thin leathery wings. Since Erathaol is so prone to these surface-level injuries, they will often wear soft bandages or guards on their body to prevent further damage. Their hind legs are also particularly weak, causing them to walk with a limp, even with the bird skull leg bands they have tied on for support. Due to their limited mobility, they will spend most of their time in the lair’s library studying medicine or the medicinal properties of any such unusual item they have on hand. Erathaol will happily share their learned knowledge amongst other sorcerers.

______ Erathaol will tend to shy away from topics of discussion that relate to his family. Despite this, they receive multiple letters from their distant relatives. Many letters have small, harmless enchantments and/or trinkets attached, small doodles of mice on the envelope, and even completely black envelopes who’s writing can only be read in the light of certain enchanted candles. Only after much prying did Erathaol reveal that most of the received letters are from a grandmother, an aunt, and a small handful of cousins. Erathaol was not very involved when it came to raising their hatchlings in order to avoid personal injury, especially when they were simply too young to understand why they couldn’t play as rough with them compared to other dragons/hatchlings. As a result, Erathaol is very distant from their offspring even after they have all matured.

Since they spend most of their time in one place, in particular, a place where many dragons come to research darker forms of magic and/or discuss their ill intents with such magic, Erathaol has picked up on many dark secrets and plans thanks to their keen eyesight and hearing. They are currently doing everything in their power to prepare for if/when those plans come to fruition without drawing attention to themselves. This has proven to not be a particularly easy task since Erathaol knows they would not be able to defend themselves against such vile forces on their own, and would require assistance and preparation from other dragons, but is unable to convey such information to other sorcerers they speak with due to the likely presence of spies. If any of those malicious dragons ever discovered what Erathaol was up to, they could very easily take them out due to their feeble state.
