FORGOTTEN
x cursed and doomed to roam alone

A ghost once doomed to wander the border between the tangled wood and the sunbeam ruins, due to the curse that lead to their earlier demise and seperated them from their soulmate.

Their name has long been lost to the sands of the time.

In their past life, they were a musician.

FORGOTTEN was well known, their talent with many instruments having been spread all over the continent. Though they also shared a love for ancient artefacts with their partner and soulmate, UNKNOWN.

The two would travel Sornieth, so that FORGOTTEN could spread their songs, UNKNOWN could find new scrolls for their research, and so the two could visit ruins and see different remnants of the past.

Though one day while the two were separated, UNKNOWN gone to collect a new scroll, FORGOTTEN was given an old pendant by a shady merchant, the merchant claiming to have heard of FORGOTTEN's love for such things.

The events that followed are blurry, most memory of them lost, but FORGOTTEN remembers one part as clear as the day it happened; UNKNOWN reaching out, trying to grab FORGOTTEN's hand as they screamed something FORGOTTEN couldn't hear, before everything went dark.

Those early days of FORGOTTEN's new normal were. . . lonely. .
Figuring out what they could still do in their ghostly new form, then starting the search for any way back to their partner.

An endless search for their other half went on as days turned into months, and months turned into years. Eventually, they became nothing more than a wisp of their former self, stuck wandering for a reason they no longer remembered.

The one thing they could remember were their songs, which they would sing as they roamed. The once cheery, energetic songs changing as they sang eerie, longing renditions of them, fueled by a grief they couldn't remember.

As time went on, more and more stories were told of the eerie music, and the ghostly coatl they came from. FORGOTTEN continued to travel the land they were now cursed to roam, singing their songs and always leaving a trail of eerie sadness in their wake.
