I wondered if I could control what genes are transferred by this virus, and if perhaps I could directly influence the development of hatchlings to create a new generation of perfect dragons. It was then that I realized my purpose so grandiose: to elevate my flight above all others!"

The Adermis Project

The Adermis Project is an ongoing series of experiments headed by Dr. Nidus Vector, a renowned pathologist and geneticist. The project was started by Dr. Vector shortly after a chance discovery while studying viruses found within the wyrmwound, one of which was a peculiar retrovirus that now plays a key role in Vector's research. The Adermis Project is set on producing a new generation of dragons whose genes have been honed to perfection, free of any inadequacies they might've once had.
