Biography

My first Veilspun! Yay!
Lore
Halo grew up in a prospering clan. He was respected by all the dragons, mainly because he was the prince. His mother would feed and take care of him, and his father would preserve order in the clan, and provide a good childhood for him and his siblings.

All this fortune ended when one day, a traitor in his clan killed Halo's father. He and his mother were devastated, and his mother's devastation never quite ended. Months and months of devastation caused his mother to die too. Now, Halo was left all alone in a clan, in which he did not rule. He was not the first in line, so his brother was the king.

After years of putting up with his brother making all the rules and calling him out for things he didn't do, Halo ran away from home. The first place he decided to go to was The Shattered Plain. It was where his mother grew up, and where Halo had never been before.

Traveling for days left Halo hungry. He decided to hunt for a bit and drink a bit of water from the nearest lake. The area seemed unusually barren, no plants and animals were there. There wasn't even a single sound. Then, a couple of heartbeats later, Halo heard a voice shouting to him.

"Look out," the voice called.

A brown warrior bowled into him, and Halo's heart skipped a beat. He had never seen a warrior quite like this one. He was covered in fur, with what seemed to be deer antlers, small wings, and sharp claws. The warrior snarled at him and dug his claws into him.

"What's happening Ronoku?" another voice called.

"I found a dragon trespassing," Ronoku called back. "He seems weak. Should we kill him?"

Halo was horrified that Ronoku would kill a dragon just for trespassing. He glanced over at the first voice, and saw something even more horrifying. She had just transformed into another one of the dragon on top of him!

"Hey! What're you doing?" she shouted at Ronoku. "Let him go!"

For a second, Ronoku sat up. Taking this chance, Halo escaped from his grasp. The other dragon had just helped him escape, and he wanted to catch her name.

"Treetuck?" Ronoku walked to the other dragon. He didn't seem to notice that Halo was gone. He guessed Ronoku was blind.

"Yes, I am Treetuck," the other dragon answered.

"I apologize," Ronoku bowed, and ran off.

"Are you alright?" the dragon transformed back.

Halo nodded quickly. He didn't want the dragon to question him on what he was doing out alone.

"Oh, I'm sorry," she laughed. "I'm Capella. My name's not Treetuck. I just used my impression of Treetuck to get him off you. By the way, Treetuck's our commander."

"I'm Prince Halo," Halo held out a talon. He waited for Capella to shake it, but she just stared at him in awe.

"A prince? What're you doing out by yourself? Come to my clan, please? We have food and water!"

Halo was about to tell her he was find by himself, but he knew he wouldn't be able to survive by himself for long.

"Alright, I'l come," Halo nodded.

"Yay! My uncle is going to be so excited to meet you," Capella giggled.

When they arrived in Capella's clan, Halo noticed how each dragon was staring at them. Capella gasped at what one dragon whispered to her, and immediately shook her head.

"What's wrong?" Halo turned to her.

"N-Nothing," Capella avoided his gaze. "C'mon, we'd better get you to my uncle. He's the king, and he'll assign you your job."

Halo stared at Capella. So her uncle was the king? That meant Capella was a princess in a way. She seemed like a royal when he first met her.

"Uncle Mortan?" Capella poked her head inside her uncle's sleeping chambers.

"What is it now Capella?" her uncle sighed. "A bunny? Fairies?"

"Uh, I found a dragon," she met her uncle's gaze uneasily. "He's lost."

"Oh," Mortan glanced at Halo. "He looks strong, so he'll be a guard, and he can sleep in your chambers."

At her uncle's last sentence, Capella blushed. Now, Halo really wanted to know what the other dragon had whispered in her ear. When they were walking out, Halo pulled her aside.

"Capella, what did that dragon say to you?"

"She just asked me...whether you were my mate," Capella's face turned bright red.

Halo blinked at her. Did he want to be her mate? No. Did he though? Maybe. Of course he did! She was a strong a beautiful dragon, and any dragon would be lucky to have her as his mate.

"Ehe, funny," Halo managed a smile.

As time grew on, Halo and Capella started spending more time together. With each day, they grew closer and closer, until one day, they were inseparable. Years later, Halo and Capella decided to settle down together. Where that journey will end, well, that's a whole different story.
