Biography
H I R A E T H .
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────ᐅ
he/him | water
Hiraeth didn’t remember most of the hurricane.
What he did remember was waking up in a fisherman’s net covered in seagull droppings, the sky a melancholy gray. The deck was rough from the barnacles adhered to its surface, and Hiraeth (was that really his name?) wished he had that same kind of rugged tenacity, the kind that said this is my home, and you cannot scrape me off. He didn’t, though. The coatl closed his eyes, intent on remaining there for an eternity even as rain started to fall. The deluge wasn’t loud or angry, nor were there bursts of thunder– just quiet pattering. He imagined disappearing into the ocean’s depths, and for once he wished he’d been born to any other element than Water– because why else would he alone have been spared in his clan’s desperate flight to escape Luminax?
