a spark, and a glimmer. yellow eyes that had long lost their shine of life reopened, circuits whirring online as breathing began to function as normal.

luxody looked her girlfriend in the eyes, and had her breath taken from her all over again. delicate green eyes searched the artificial glow to luxody's yellow eyes, and she scrunched her eyes up in a smile, the metal plating on her lower jaw not really being the best material to allow for smiling.

the sort-of smile relaxed the concerned flare and droop of oropedio's crests, and all her fans and crests flared into a happy smile. luxody opened her jaw, and the tubes in her throat depressed, a hiss of air escaping her mouth before she spoke.

"i'm glad to see you again, my dear."
