⫸ Stroud skitters around the edges of settlements, seeking tombs and caverns of the Cairnstone Rest, with his boyfriend, Vance. On dates, a healthy amount of time is dedicated for Vance to fret about drawing too much “unwanted attention.” To stay afloat, the duo work as “Fetchers,” taking on orders for specific monster loot or specialty items. Though their items are always the genuine artifact, the sources aren’t always legal. In case things go south, they’ve each got their own set of disguises and false identities, rehearsed and ready.
⫸ Occasionally their money comes from gambling or following a hunch, they travel in the direction of the undiscovered burial sites of obelisks in the hopes of uncovering rare treasures or even eggs. No one likes to admit it, but there is a hefty demand for them.
⫸ Stroud met Vance at the trading post, while Stroud was seeking more clients to fetch items for. Stroud was still recovering from a previous breakup, the separation had left him completely at a loss. Vance was an "archaeologist", disgruntled after another trail went cold. Stroud found the sky dancer rather dashing, and took initiative to create a partnership that bloomed into some strange criminal romance.
⫸ Stroud loves whiskey, summer nights, gambling, meeting new people, bonfires, and flirting with cute guys, especially Vance.
