Day

Day is the scowling, battle-scarred elder of Toothy Triumph. Being older than Okhan herself, he looks down on some of the other dragons within Triumph for not being serious enough. Day looks up to Okhan a lot, as the entirety of Toothy Triumph does, but he won't ever admit it. He thinks he's better than the 'younglings', and puts them down verbally. Due to Day's old joints and slowing movement, many of the dragons within Triumph can out-run and out-fight him. Though, many dragons outside of Triumph that Day is pinned against are under him in terms of fighting prowess, and he can come out unscathed. He still avoids battle unless he absolutely needs to, though, and has been tasked with something different. Okhan is a very busy dragon, so she asked Day if he was a good judge of character. They determined that he was, and thus, Day was granted the job of finding dragons to recruit to Triumph. Dragons are also directed to Day before making it to Okhan's judgement. If Day doesn't like them, that doesn't say much. Day pays attention to their personality, while Okhan pays more attention to their capabilities, especially fighting ability. Thus, Okhan usually has to go chasing after dragons after they get rejected by Day. Day is widely disliked by the younger dragons in Toothy Triumph, due to his harsh judgement, and the fact that he doesn't understand their humor. He has earned the nickname D-Day within the circle of teens. Day is still useful, though, as he's good at identifying things within the Scarred Wasteland, similar to bussin. He is extremely well-acquainted with the dangers in the wasteland, and knows exactly how to handle things such as fauna, flora, and disease.
