Scene: Arcanist's Domain

Blitz and Cool were two determined dragons with one goal in mind; become the founders of a clan. Thus, when the teens came across Cadenza, they adopted her into their clan. Candenza was a gullible dragonet, so she believed they had the best intentions. If it was any other duo of dragons, she probably would've been toast, but it was Blitz and Cool. They adventured around for a while, until they found another dragon. And another. And another. And... oh Arcanist-- there's so many of them..

Cadenza is the one with all the very advanced magic that could wipe out the entire clan if she wanted to. She does the powerful enchantments that NightStalker can't do and can communicate with dead dragons. The clan is lucky, though, because she won't be ending them anytime soon. Cadenza seems cold and secretive, but she's actually warmhearted and is willing to teach dragons how to use the enchantments she gives them. Her power is so advanced that she can tell any dragon's intention if they request enchantments. Usually it's vague, though, as it's just "good" or "bad". But, it's still useful, as that's all the information she needs to grant them power. Cadenza also uses her power to change the appearance of dragons with special scrolls, in order to make them happier in their own body. She gets a bit antsy when asked for certain enchantments, but other dragons take care of those.

THUNK.

Cadenza whipped her head around so hard that it nearly flew off. A notebook had fallen off of her table seemingly by itself. She shuddered, and brushed it off as gravity doing its thing. She scanned the large, open room. It was a cozy little house, lit by candlelight. Her mate, Regis, was asleep upstairs. She directed her sight to the window, and examined the sky. It was a clear, starry night. The stars seemed to dance against the dark background. As she turned her head back to the task she was carrying out, she heard another.

CRASH.

"GAH!" Cadenza shouted. The second jarring noise caught her off guard, and she probably needed to work on her resilience. She was easily startled, though, and she couldn't help it. Another book had fallen, this time it was one of the books on her shelf. She slowly stood up from the cushion she sat on, and crept towards the book that had fallen.

BANG.
THUD!

"YEOWCH!" The third book had boinked Cadenza on the head, which caused her to stumble away from the shelf. She rubbed the spot that had taken the hit, and growled. "Not funny," she remarked. Cadenza figured that this was too organized to be gravity, so she pulled out the big guns. She closed her eyes, and focused on the Arcane magic that was constantly pulsing through her veins. Cadenza concentrated it within her mind, and opened her eyes.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey-"

"AAAAHHH!!!"

Just as she'd expected, there was a spirit in front of her. Like, RIGHT in front of her. She didn't expect them to be that close. It seemed as they had been talking the entire time, as they continued speaking after they startled Cadenza.

"D'oh, Eleven! Sorry about that, didn't mean to scare you. I knew you could talk to spirits, though. So, hello Miss Cadenza!" The spirit smiled, with a slight bow. They were a grey-blue Guardian, adorned in various jewels, with a majestic cloak draped over their body. An eerie, smoky aura surrounded their extremities, but it was overridden by the blue wisps that danced and glowed around them. When they said Cadenza's name, it sent a shiver down her spine. She didn't know how they'd know her, let alone the fact that she could communicate with spirits.

"What- uh-," Cadenza didn't know what to ask, and began worrying that she may have awoken Regis. "Hi, hello. Who are you," Cadenza took many steps back, and then continued. "Why do you know me, and why are you throwing books at me?" She rubbed the spot on her head again, and winced. That's gonna leave a bruise.

"I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry!!" the spirit exclaimed. They subconsciously ducked their head below the ceiling, even though their Guardian-sized wings were partially clipping through the walls. Cadenza looked closer at their wings, and noticed a bit of orange in the dark blue. "Uh, I'm Flametalon. I wanted to get your attention, Miss Cadenza. I've got.. a little issue."

"FLAMETALON?" Cadenza was immensely surprised. She never thought she'd hear from him again, and neither did Blitz. She needed to tell his parents immediately! She thought about his friends, too, and where they might've gone, and sighed at the trouble they used to cause. "Oh, you boys.."

"Uh," Flametalon paused. "I'm..." He seemed like he didn't know how to phrase what he was about to say. "Um." He raised his front claws, and Arcane magic crackled from them. Bolts of magic were going from claw to claw, horizontally. The colors of the magic looked like cotton candy, as they were blue, pink, and white. "Surprise!"

"Ooh, that's pretty!" This left Cadenza confused, as she didn't know what Flametalon was trying to accomplish. "How does this relate to our conversation?"

"I'm a girl." She lowered her claws.

"Oh."
